Golf. Known as the game of the aristocracy and the elite. The difference between golf and other sports is that golf does not have a referee or umpire. Each player records his own number of shots. The game of golf is quite unfamiliar in our country. There are two reasons behind this. First of all, there is very little publicity for this game. Second, due to the lack of publicity, about 99 percent of the people in the country do not know where the game is, or how it happens.
Let's take a look at the history and rules of golf -
history
says one side, this game of ball and stick was introduced from the Roman game 'Paganica'. Another party claims that a game called 'Chuiwan' was popular in China in the eighth and fourteenth centuries. The game of golf originated from this 'Chuiwan'. According to most, however, golf was introduced in Scotland in the twelfth century. Shepherds used to play this kind of game with stones and sticks to pass the time in their workspace. There was a rabbit hole in the field where they used to ride the sheep. They used stones instead of the current ball to pass the time. And he had a stick in his hand. They hit the rock with this stick and threw it into the rabbit hole. This is where they get entertainment. And that game is the current game of golf in the evolution of time.
Introduction
Golf is a game of fine ball and stick skills. The main goal of this game is to hit the ball with the stick and throw it into the hole. But not in one or two holes. The ball has to be thrown in 9/16 holes in a row. Only then is victory and defeat determined. In the game you have to throw the ball in 9 or 16 holes. The player who can throw the ball into the hole in the shortest number of shots is the winner.
Golf Courses
Cricket-football fields have definite boundaries but golf grounds have no boundaries. A golf course is not called a field like cricket football. The golf course is called a 'course'. A golf course is built with many holes and tees in a row. 'T' refers to the place from which players first hit the ball. This 'T' is basically an object. It is used to hold the ball slightly above the ground. The space between the 'T' and the 'hole' is called the 'fairway' or 'good way'. Different types of flags can be seen around each hole. These are called 'Rough', 'Hazards' and 'Putting Green'. And the place where the high and low waves are seen playing on the golf course is called 'Douglag'. This 'Douglag' usually bends to the right or left of the area. In some cases, this twist happens once. Again in many cases, this bend happens twice. When he turns twice, he is called 'double leg'. Golf courses usually have 16 holes. And if the course is 9 holes, then you have to twist twice.
Win-
loss is a win-loss calculation based on which player has been able to throw the ball into the hole in the shortest number of shots. There are also some points of golf. Each golf course has a set standard for the number of shots. You can say that. The international standard golf course is 71. This is the calculation of how many times a golfer can hit the ball and throw the ball into the hole. Again there are a different number of shots for throwing the ball in different holes. The distance of the hole from T determines the number of crosses.
In the case of par-tin (throwing the ball into the hole with three shots) this distance is 250 yards.
In the case of par-four (throwing the ball into the hole with four shots) this distance is 251 yards to 465 yards.
In the case of par-panch (throwing the ball into the hole with five shots) this distance is more than 465 yards.
This distance is more than 750 yards in case of more than five shots (throwing the ball into the hole in more than five shots).
The number of bells is also determined based on the slope of the golf course. However, the 16-hole golf course of international standard has 3 holes on 4 sides, 4 holes on 10 sides and 5 holes on 4 sides. However, this division is not always the same. However, in all cases, 60, 61 or 62 games are played. Scoring is determined by whether a player has played more than 61 shots or played fewer shots. To survive in the competition, you must play fewer shots than you can. The score is again called by different names. For example, if someone throws the ball into the hole with a single short in a four-legged game, he is called an 'Austris'. Similarly, in a four-legged game, if someone throws the ball into the hole after playing less than 1 par, he is called a 'bridle'.
Similarly, when 2, 3, and 4 shots are played less, throwing the ball into the hole is called 'Eagle', 'Albatross', and 'Condor' respectively. And if one plays more than one shot, it is called 'boogie', and if one plays more than two shots, it is called 'double boogie'. If the opponent's score is equal to two players then it is called 'Hello' or 'Try'. In this case, the player who wins more 'holes' is made the winner in determining the win-loss. 'Hole' means to hit the ball from 'T' and throw the ball into the hole. There is also an issue called 'penalty' in golf. Golf penalties are awarded when a player loses the ball after hitting the ball, or when the ball moves off the field, moves equipment or grass while moving, and accidentally hits another golfer's ball. The number of opponent players is increased as a penalty.
Equipment To
play golf you need a bar and a ball. The bar with which the ball is hit is called 'stick' or 'club'. However, there are different types of sticks. Such as - Driver, Wood, Potter. The driver's stick is used to hit the ball over long distances from the 'T' area. This is the biggest stick. Wood sticks are used to cover long distances on ferroaways. In the green area, the potter's stick is used to hit the ball and throw it into the hole. Even if a player can make sticks according to his choice, they have to make them according to the rules of golf. Otherwise, if any mistake is caught later, he is expelled from the game.
rules
The game is completely amateurish. No professional player can crowd around this game. If a player takes money from someone for teaching or playing the game, he can no longer participate in the amateur game. However, there are certain rules for golfers' prize money. A golfer can hit as many times as he wants to throw the ball into the specified 16 holes after stopping the ball after hitting the ball from the 'T' area for the first time. But keep in mind that the lowest hitter will be the winner. All subsequent hits starting from the 'T' area are called 'layup' approaches (long to medium distance), pitch or chip. When the ball reaches the green area it is called 'jute'.
